Hushed: A Dystopia

The day after the bombs dropped was the day the City went silent. For the safety of the City, the radio stations were taken over by the government. For the good of the people, the musicians, writers, artists, and dancers became enemies of the state, madmen. Everything was converted to formulas and measurements, machines and information. Mythology and creativity were labeled the source of the madness that caused the Great War. The people were divided into the Grey Caste, the White Caste, and the Silver Caste: madmen, the artists, in the former caste, linguists, teachers, and tailors in the middle caste, and doctors, engineers, and mathematicia

Hey! It's been a while.

So maybe it's been a while since I really did anything with deviantart... maybe it's been since, what, March 2007, since I even posted a journal entry, much less put up deviations. Er, we're going to try to get back into posting things. My style's going in a totally new direction, my work ethic is more sporatic but more concentrated when I have it, and I've gotten over my woe-is-me teenager phase. Let's see if we can't write something good now, hmm?

I'll update as soon as I get something worth reading for y'all.
